Following the birth of your baby, I will continue to care for you in the first 6 weeks. You can expect three to four visits in the first 10 days either in hospital or at your home. I will visit you again 2-3 weeks after the birth of your baby. About six weeks after birth, a final visit is arranged and a complete physical of yourself and your baby is done. You are then discharged back to your family physician for ongoing care. If you do not have a family physician, I can help you find one.
