about your midwife

Esther Ohajekwe-Aneke
RN, MSN, RM

Pregnancy and birth are a miracle, and I have been drawn to this miracle since I started my midwifery education. I first trained in Nigeria as a Registered Nurse, then as a Registered Midwife under the British system of education. I immigrated to Canada in the early seventies. Following legalization of midwifery, I registered to practice midwifery in BC in 2001. I have worked in various birthing settings, and currently, I have hospital privileges at St. Paul’s, BC Children’s and Women’s, and Richmond Hospitals. I have been in solo practice for over three years and I am well supported by my midwifery colleagues. To date I have close to 200 births in BC.

Our mission is to assist you through a memorable birth experience by providing personal care and support throughout
your pregnancy, birth, and post-partum.
